What do the largest volcanic eruption of the last 10,000 years, a German Baron and the bicycle have in common?

Find out when you tour the TwoWheelTimeMachine,

a curated collection of bicycles from the past 150 years.

Bike-ology

Have the TwoWheelTimeMachine travel to your class or group for a hands on program in discovering the important historical, societal and scientific significance of the bicycle.

Bicycle collector Grant Turner stands in his Victoria museum of vintage Campagnolo road bikes

Bike-ology is a learning curriculum for students in Grades 4 through 6 to engage in activities, discussions and experiments with select pieces from the TwoWheelTimeMachine to explore the development of the bicycle from 1869 to the present day.

The Bicycle Rescue Service accepts donations of unwanted bicycles,  refurbishes them and then rehomes them with those who need a bicycle, but cannot afford one.

The condition and style of a bicycle for rescue does not matter. We also accept donations of useable parts, accessories, good tires and working bicycle locks.

Bicycles can be dropped off at participating locations or a pick up service is available in most areas.
